Phillip Toovey - CEO

Phillip has worked in the disability services sector for over 30 years, including starting in direct service with children, moving into working in support roles with adults, then leading and managing services. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of The Bridge.

Ausra Wells -  General Manager, The Bridge Employment

Ausra started with The Bridge in 2002 as an Employment Consultant, working through to 2005, and has been back with the organisation since 2010. She has worked in the disability and employment sector for over 15 years. Ausra is driven to create sustainable opportunities for people with disabilities and is passionate about providing a quality service that delivers.

Mary-Jane Stolp - General Manager, The Bridge Connects

Mary-Jane initially completed a Bachelor of Applied Science and following university commenced working in Allied Health in the private hospital sector.  After 5 years of clinical service delivery and dabbling in accreditation, Mary-Jane moved into quality and risk management in regional Victoria and completed a Masters in Health Service Management.  For the last 19 years Mary-Jane has worked in executive and senior management roles in the health, aged care, community and disability sectors. She is a Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Management and completed a Graduate Certificate in Leadership in 2014.  Mary-Jane is passionate about service innovation & organisational strategy to deliver safe, quality care & services to the community. 

Carolyn Pabst – Human Resources Manager

Carolyn has over 20 years’ experience working in the community not for profit sector, most of which time has been spent working in a variety of management roles within The Bridge. In her last position she worked with the Springvale Monash Legal Service co-coordinating the free legal advice drop in service. She has been in her current role as Human Resources Manager with The Bridge for four years. She holds qualifications in Leadership, Business Management and Human Services.

Tracey Thomas -  Quality  Manager

Tracey has been with The Bridge for 14 years. Her role is to make sure The Bridge’s services are delivering high quality programs that comply with quality standards. Tracey manages internal reviews of processes, updating and developing forms, policies and procedures, as well as training staff. She loves working for an organisation that has a positive impact on people’s lives.

Nadia Parzybok - Staff Development and Training Manager

Nadia first started with The Bridge in 1997 as a Community Recreation Worker, moving on to a variety of roles including establishing The Bridge’s individualised service,  Your Supports and as Assistant Manager of day supports. In 2005, Nadia left The Bridge to work as a Trainer and Assessor at Chisholm Institute and returned in 2013. Nadia is passionate about educating and developing others in achieving outcomes with people with disability.

Nicole Stribbles -  Connects Operations Manager

Nicole has extensive experience working within the disability sector spanning over 20 years. Nicole initially completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Intellectual Disability) and then a Graduate Diploma in Disability (Leadership). She also holds her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Nicole’s experience includes group based supports as well as individualised services and brokerage supports. Having worked in direct support before moving into a range of leadership and management roles, she is committed to the delivery of quality services and outcomes to enhance the lives of people with a disability.
